Retreat Rules/Guidelines

MODEST APPAREL - No shorts above the knee, revealing tops, beer or rock group tee-shirts, no bare feet except in showers or bunkhouse. All skirts and dresses must be of modest length. Dress must be appropriate for retreat activities, i.e. long pants must be worn for horseback riding and confidence course.

EDIFYING RELATIONSHIPS - No physical contact with the opposite sex: unless Licensed (married), NO BEGINNER PERMITS ALLOWED.

RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR - No wrestling, shoving, or rough horse play that may lead to fighting: which includes bunkhouse raids, water fights, shaving cream fights or any other prank that would cause problems or stir up strife within the group.

COURTESIES - No hikes without proper permission to prevent lost persons. No entering of any buildings not designated for your group.

TRAIL RIDES AND HORSE ACTIVITIES - will be supervised by horse staff personnel who will be responsible for the safety of the group. All riders must be at least 8 years of age and must wear long pants. No double riding.

LEADERSHIP - We ask that the leaders will assume full responsibility for their group and that they abide with the policies of MMRM. We also ask that the group provide at least one adult for every 9 school age participants

LIGHTS OUT - will be no later than 11:00 PM each evening unless previously scheduled with the camp director

NO RADIOS, WALKMANS, TAPE DECKS, OR ELECTRONIC GAMES.

NO ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, DRUGS, OR ROCK MUSIC ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS.
